Kim Dempster, Nurturing Results’ brand strategist, creates and implements brand development strategies for the children’s market, Kim Dempster oversees the spectrum of branding, naming, corporate vision and public relations services offered by the company.
Ms. Dempster brings a unique mix of creative, marketing and communications expertise in the kid’s technology market to her position. She has consulted with a variety of innovative kid’s license, toy, and technology companies including Girl Games, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, TradeYa!, Disney and University Games.
Before Nurturing Results, Kim directed marketing efforts at Living Books, where she was responsible for defining the groundbreaking multimedia company’s corporate vision and brand strategies. She managed all of the company’s marketing and public relations programs to successfully position Living Books as the first “edutainment” company. In addition, Kim initiated and oversaw a company-wide corporate brand and consumer research project. While at Living Books, Ms Dempster played a key role in developing the corporate Internet strategy and worked to create several successful online product promotions for the company.
Prior to Living Books, Ms. Dempster managed all of the marketing communications programs within Raychem’s Electronics Division. She also worked at the one of the world’s most recognized creative advertising agencies, Goodby, Silverstein and Partners.
Ms. Dempster holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Fine Arts from the University of California at Davis. She also attended Cambridge University in England, and has earned a certificate in marketing from UC Berkeley’s Masters Extension Program. She lives with her husband and her son and daughter in San Francisco.
